Job Description

Medacs Healthcare are currently looking to recruit Recovery Nurses for a privately run hospital based in Bristol area. The successful candidate will work in a team to provide exemplary care for patients within the Operating Theatre. You will assess patient's health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload, using up-to-date equipment and technology, supported by a dedicated central sterile services unit for theatre equipment. Your focus will be the Recovery phase post operation, and you will monitor the patients physiological parameters and support them, providing appropriate interventions and treatment until the patient has recovered from the effects of the anaesthesia and/or surgery and is stable enough to be transferred to our wards. You will promote best practice and continually strive to improve quality of care, supported by training and on-going career development to enable you to enjoy a genuinely fulfilling career. Qualifications, Skills and Responsibilities: Registered General Nurse.Recognised recovery/critical care qualification desirable. Experience in Recovery Room environment. Participate as a member of Theatre team.Demonstrate a consistently high standard of patient careAssist patient to a comfortable and safe recovery following general anaesthetic.
