Job Description

Medacs Healthcare are currently looking to recruit for Operating Department Practicioner or Anaesthetics Nurse for a privately run hospital based in Bristol Area. The successful candidate will work in a team to provide exemplary care for patients within the Anaesthetic area of the Theatre Department. You will assess patient's health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload, using up-to-date equipment and technology, supported by a dedicated central sterile services unit for theatre equipment. You will promote best practice and continually strive to improve quality of care, supported by training and on-going career development to enable you to enjoy a genuinely fulfilling career. Duties and responsibilities:Assess, implement and evaluate patient care delivery, providing a high standard of clinical and customer care to all patientsParticipate in scrub, anaesthetic and recovery duties as requiredTake part in "on-call" as requiredBe part of the resuscitation teamAssist in the setting and maintenance of clinical standards and implementation of clinical audits.Undertake any other duties as requested by senior members of staff.Provide a supportive environment for staff joining the department and undertake training as appropriate Key requirements: Minimum Qualifications:- City & Guilds 752- NVQ ODP level 3- RGN ENB 183 Experience:- Up-to date knowledge in surgery especially cosmetic procedures- Aware of AODP Code of Conduct/NMC Code of ConductSkills:Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
