SWIIS Healthcare are looking for strong and determined individuals for challenging yet rewarding Hostel Manager roles. You will be based in a large hostel for clients with issues including homelessness, mental health and drug & alcohol misuse issues, working in partnership with the Local Authority to run the hostel and accommodation.

Your role will essentially be based around the tenancy management function of running a hostel for men and women with often challenging needs.

Although a background in supported housing would be advantageous, the key aspects of the post will focus on room checks, dealing with issues of anti-social behaviour (which can be fairly common), health and safety checks and generally ensuring the smooth-running of the accommodation.

We are looking for forthright candidates with a strong presence, people who are able to cope under pressure and who will not be fazed by the diverse situations which may arise in a hostel. You will be a strong communicator with customer focus and background in tenancy management.

We are looking for candidates who are able to start immediately and hit the ground running.

The hours of work for this role can be unsociable and being available on-call would be on a rota basis.

A recent enhanced CRB and five years references will be required for this post.
