Solution Architect. A Wiltshire based IT solutions provider require a Solution Architect to be responsible for the development of business and functional solutions for internal and external clients taking business requirements and developing appropriate solutions or assuring existing and proposed models as required identifying risks and issues and proposing solutions to business problems. The Solution Architect will need to be prepared to travel to client sites wherever they are based.

The Solution Architect will need a degree with IT content and skills in business and enterprise architecture, information and data architecture, technology architecture and managed services.
The Solution Architect will ideally have skills in architecture standards – TOGAFF, Zackman or other recognized practice, web services, service orientated architecture, software as a service, business analysis, lean processing, information (and data) standards, interoperable and integration standards, messaging, technology – Microsoft enterprise solutions, SOA or web services, security, access and ID management, testing, managed services – ITIL, CoBIT, SLAs, total cost of ownership, whole life costing, supplier and delivery change management / influencing. The Solution Architect will also benefit from previous work experience as part of a design authority, experience of writing technical documentation and working within a quality system.

The Solution Architect salary will be £40k plus car allowance plus annual bonus plus good benefits.
