| Not exactly your ordinary analyst job Would you like to use your analytical and problem solving skills to serve your country and save lives? As one of the UK’s three main intelligence agencies, along with MI5 and MI6, GCHQ intercepts communications and electronic signals from around the world to help protect British interests from threats at home and abroad. We’re currently recruiting Intelligence Analysts to work at our Cheltenham headquarters. The work is intellectually satisfying, constantly changing and will see your individual ingenuity make a direct and visible impact on national security. In this Collection and Data Delivery role, you’ll work with other Intelligence Analysts and agencies to ensure GCHQ can access the type of data it needs to produce valuable intelligence. Covering all areas of external customer liaison and intelligence production, you’ll enjoy a broad overview of the entire GCHQ operation. Adaptability, attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills are all essential, as is a flair for analysis and a naturally inquiring mind. Working on your own initiative and as part of a wider team, you’ll be comfortable with the latest IT and communications technology and have an interest in international current affairs.
