| A Financial Consultant vacancy exists within the Corporate and Consumer Retail sales team. The role will be home based and will require travel to home visit appointments in the BS, BN, SN and adjacent postcodes. If you are successful, Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure will form part of our referencing procedure. This is a Controlled Function under the terms of the Financial Service and Markets Act, as regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). Any appointment to this role will be subject to approval from the FSA. About The Role Salary: £31,000 (total OTE £52,000) + car, pension scheme, profit share scheme, 29 days' holiday and product discounts. The role involves: • Attending centrally generated and diarised Equity Release and Life, Pension, Annuity and Investment calls and to ensure all sales opportunities in these calls are maximised • To self generate Equity Release and Life, Pension, Annuity and Investment sales • To deliver on a range of business KPIs and run rates to enable meet APE business targets • To achieve best practice in Compliance and sales skills against agreed benchmarks • To maintain a positive working relationship with clients to maximise referral and future business Key Responsibilities: • To achieve targets through quality production, business mix and business growth • To take ownership and action to achieve your Personal Business Plan as agreed with your RSM • To ensure excellent customer service is maintained and developed via the Sales Process • Adhere to procedures to meet both the FSA and Company compliance requirements • To carry out comprehensive full fact finds to enable them to make appropriate recommendations to customers and sell across the full range of NU Products based on all needs identified and in line with authorisation • Self generation of appointments to hit specific self generation business targets including annual reviews and referrals Experience Skills & Qualifications • FPC 1, 2 & 3 (or its equivalent) + CF2, CF7,HR1 and CF6/CeMap (or its equivalent) is essential • Diploma in Financial Planning desirable • Understand the dynamics of the Business Key Performance Indicators to enable business targets to be met • Detailed technical knowledge with which to provide a financial planning service • Knowledge of sales methods employed and distribution channels • Knowledge of products and their usage in the market place • Ability to think through the consequences of actions taken both internally and operationally • Ability to demonstrate positive attitude and behaviour and a flexibility to take on board feedback to develop new skills • Creative thinking ability • Thorough understanding of the Compliance, Legal, Statutory and Regulatory aspects impacting upon this area • Candidates will be required to supply documented evidence of their previous 'top performer' status To apply for this role click the Apply Button below to visit www.norwichunion.jobs/specialist quoting reference JOB33522.
