Full Description:
Due to continued growth and expansion our clients based in North Bristol are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer

The Person:
To assist the business in the provisioning and maintenance of all PC based desktop environments and applications and local area network management, including end user computing requirements as necessary.

Key Skills:
- Extensive experience in the support of PC, printer and associated desktop hardware systems.
- Experience of Desktop Management in the Enterprise.
- Extensive experience in the support of PC, printer and associated desktop software applications.
- Ability to relate and communicate at all management levels.
- Extensive knowledge with current Expected deployment and legacy Applications / landscape
- Extensive experience in supporting Microsoft XP desktop and surrounding applications
- Excellent knowledge of the installation and support of Microsoft Windows 2003 Server
- Excellent understanding of PC TCP/IP installation, configuration and support.
- Excellent knowledge of Networking Infrastructures, fault finding and terminology.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to staff at every level of the company.
- A solid understanding of Customer PC requirements in relation to internal departmental procedures.
