| GCHQ, alongside MI5 and MI6, is one of the UK’s three intelligence services contributing to the security and well-being of Britain. These support roles are based in our Intelligence Analyst Unit, a fascinating department which collects and analyses vital intelligence from hundreds of sources to produce countless reports for our customers. So a career in this team is anything but ordinary. Our analysts work at the cutting-edge of signals intelligence. Specialising in political, military and economic well-being as well as serious crime, they collate and evaluate material, providing reports, briefings or advice for our government and military forces. And you’ll be there to support them every step of the way. You could be involved in anything from researching and organising information through to drafting reports. Along the way we’ll help you learn how to use various analysis tools and techniques, giving you as much support as you’ll give us.
