| Experienced Mechanical Project Engineer, Bristol, Building Services (M&E) If you are looking for a challenging opportunity to put your skills to the test then look no further. Our client is a multidisciplinary provider of a range of design, build and maintenance services. The group consists of five divisions, namely facilities, specialist services, project services, equipment services and PFI investments which operate in sectors such as education, health, prisons, water, power, waste, transport infrastructure and commercial. As a strong business group they have the ability to deliver integrated service packages whereby they are able to offer clients a one stop shop solution. In particular the divisions unite with large projects for defence projects providing a prime contracting service. The client has successfully secured a 'one stop shop' project in Corsham for the MOD which involved £18M of M&E services alone. The engineering team currently require an experienced level mechanical project engineer to assist in high quality delivery of the project. As a mixed use site the project includes; Offices Accommodation (180 bed accommodation) Armoury Logistics Store Mess rooms Sports Complex Highly complex energy centre at 3 storeys The project in it's entirety is programmed to be complete in three years from start to finish, the M&E is expected to take two years to complete. The client has only just gone on site and are preparing to begin work, the senior management team are looking to have an experienced mechanical project engineer on site by September. This is an excellent opportunity to take a large, prestigious project from inception to completion on site and be part of a new team. Applicants are required to demonstrate a proven track record in mechanical building services and will have previously worked for an M&E sub-contractor, working on large projects within a range of sectors. Qualifications such as ONC/HNC in Building Services would be an advantage however not essential as long as the candidate has proven experience in the field and has any relevant trade tickets/qualifications as required.
