| Salary is negotiable on experience Overview Multi-disciplined engineering company operating principally in the oil, gas, petrochemical and water industries. With over 40 years experience in oilfield engineering solutions. Responsibilities To produce Hardware Detail Design documentation to enable production of Control panels on time to budget and right first time to avoid rework. To Design Control Panels to meet the requirements of the functional Design specification and Client specifications. To maintain up to date knowledge on panel components and ensure panel design meets the requirements. To produce Project Drawings and Documentation to the required standards on time and within budget. To work to ISO 9001 quality procedures and any other company procedure in place. To liaise with the Systems Manager or in his/her absence the Project Manager and Project Engineers to ensure up to date Engineering data is being used. To liaise with the Project Manager and Project Engineers on any Engineering data missing or incorrect to enable the Design to be completed on time and within budget. To maintain a Project Log of any correspondence between project Manager, Project Engineers and Design Office Staff. To Issue Drawings and Documentation to the Project Manager and Project Engineers for Production and Client Issue. To liaise with the Systems Manager to Design standard components for use within a Project. Qualifications and Skills Minimum HNC in Control Systems Electronics and at least 2 years experience in Control Panel Design. This position is commutable from Stroud, Gloucester, Yate, Cirencester, Tetbury, Bristol, North Somerset The position of Control Panel Design Engineer would also suit an Electrical Design Engineer.
