Full Description:
Need to work in the evening or are you a student looking for evening or weekend work to fit around your studies. Our clients in North Bristol, a leading insurance company, have a requirement for a number of customer service representatives to help start up a new department and team. This is an exciting time to join the company where you will be responsible for its success and in return they offer an excellent training and benefits package. Start date: 8th September 2008

In this role you will be the first point of contact for our clients customers, who may need to make a change to their policy for example, moved home, changed their vehicle or simply need to amend their cover. You are responsible for providing an efficient, professional, friendly and high quality standard of service. Focusing on dealing with enquiries from existing customers in the contact centre you will actively identify their needs and meet them with our clients products and services, ensuring their requirements are fully satisfied. This is a key position in the company as it offers a real opportunity to deliver excellent customer service and improve customers experience

The Person:
- Previous customer service experience within any industry
- Experience of working to targets or deadlines
- The ability to build rapport with customers
- Excellent communication skills

Key Skills:
- Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with Customers and Members
- Experience of working in a pressurised environment whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy and meeting tight deadlines
- Ability to continuously prioritise and adapt to a changing environment
- Excellent team player with enthusiasm and motivation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Training and Development:
You will be provided with a 7-week training programme (including Buddying) which you will need to commit to the whole length of training. This is a classroom based training course split between practical, role-plays and self-learning. There will be assessments both written and practical that you will need to pass. With support and development given, you will need to re-sit the assessments if you do not pass them. Once you have completed your initial training, you will join a team of 10-12 advisors who will all report to a Team Leader. Your TL will be responsible for supporting and encouraging you in order for you to develop your career.

Hours of work:
Minimum of 20 hours per week, shifts are Monday-Friday 17:00-22:00 plus a Saturday or Sunday (Saturday 08:00-17:00, Sunday 09:00-16:00) - Shifts must include a Saturday or Sunday
