| Sous Chef - 23k - Reading - 23k - Sous Chef Excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Sous Chef looking for a progressive and challenging role. Our client is an extremely busy brasserie currently looking for a Sous Chef. This property is managed by a renowned Chef Proprietor. The ideal candidate should be used to working with high volumes and be able to multi task well. The Role: Sous Chef The ideal Sous Chef will have previous experience within quality restaurants like Conran, Browns, Peti Blanc, Caprese restaurants etc. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting in maintaining high levels of hygiene and health and safety The Sous Chef will be responsible for junior staff development and ensuring high levels of food standards are achieved The Sous Chef will be reporting directly into the Head Chef Sous Chef must be passionate and have the ability to cope under pressure Salary and Benefits: 20000 - 23000 depending on experience, plus accommodation.
