Overview Leader in mechanical rotating machinery design and manufacturing with over 30 years experience providing solutions to the process industry to include Waste Water, Oil & Gas. Successful company supplying on a World Wide basis now have an opportunity for a Design Draughtsperson. Responsibilities You will be responsible for updating and creating designs of mechanical machine components (internals) using Autocad LT. This will also include external unit casings, fixings to be mounted onto Skid Packages and creating all relevant technical documentation. Work under the direction of a Mechanical Engineer in the design of mechanical systems. Utilize the information resources available through the Intranet and to join the relevant interest groups. Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will be a proficient user of Autocad LT or similar 3D Design software and will have experience of producing mechanical drawings from sketches drawn by engineers and converting into 3D CAD. Industrial design experience, including drawing office and workshop practice Understanding of the design and development cycle leading to manufacture This position would also suit a CAD Technician with experience in Autocad, Pro E, Solid Edge, Solid works.
