| The Person: An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen with our clients, a leading insurance company for a Travel Sales and Service Manager based in their Bristol office. You will be responsible for building a new Travel Insurance operation and will be responsible for the recruitment, training and development of travel insurance experts. The team will sit across both the Bristol and Croydon sites therefore the successful applicant will need to commute between both sites. The principle responsibility of this position is to manage the Sales and Service activity within a Regional business unit achieving sales & customer service targets enabling delivery of the business plan within budget whilst reinforcing the Group brands. Key Skills: - Experience of Travel-Insurance is essential - Contact centre set-up would be advantageous. - Provide market leading knowledge of the Travel Insurance industry - Providing input to ongoing product and systems development - Technical ability to operate at competent technical levels across the relevant product range and functions exposed to the contact centre; - Ability to include analysis, identifying trends and the ability to make timely decisions and take appropriate action based on findings; - Proven experience of effective leadership and management of teams of people in a - Sales focused contact centre environment; - Enjoyment and experience of leading and working to department wide quality, volume and conversion targets and initiatives and achieving these; - Good understanding of and ability to assimilate regulatory and compliance requirements that will affect the customer experience and operational processes in the contact centre; - Proven track record of building effective working relationships with the ability to lead, motivate, develop and inspire others to achieve their full potential; Benefits: - Final Salary Pension scheme - Up to 30% annual bonus - 28 days holiday plus ability to buy and sell more - Subsidised restaurant - Discounted products - Flexible benefits scheme |
