PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To supervise, organise and co-ordinate the activities of a Blended contact centre sales team by effective leadership, coaching & development and to continually seek ways to achieve sales targets and improve service.

THE JOB

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Contact Centre Team Leader. The role is based at our Aztec west office however the successful candidate will also be required to work at our city centre office.

The role will entail the day to day management of a team of 12 Blended Sales Associates who handle both Inbound and Outbound call traffic. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that their team meet individual sales, KPI and efficiency targets. You will also be responsible for ensuring your team is monitored, coached and provided with product and technical support to ensure they have all available tools to perform their role efficiently.

Monitoring absenteeism and time keeping, keeping records and effectively dealing with any people issues promptly as they arise will be important elements of the role. In addition you will act as the first line of referral for customer queries and complaints handled by your team.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Experience of successfully managing teams in a contact centre environment is essential and strong people- and change-management skills are essential in this role. Motivating and developing team members will be second nature to you and ideally you will have experience in a sales environment. Experience in the insurance industry, whilst desirable, is not essential.

HOURS OF WORK

The hours of work for this role are 35 per week between the hours of 8am & 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. No weekend working is required.

SALARY

The staring salary range for this role is up to £20,000 per annum (depending on experience) + uncapped commission (OTE = £25K) + potential for annual bonus based on company and individual performance.
