An exciting opportunity for a talented Java Developer to work within a well established and vibrant software company which delivers solutions and support to the main key companies in their industry. A fantastic position for a mid level Software developer looking for a relaxed and friendly environment whilst working to a high and professional standard

Duties and responsibilities:

To work on the companies core system, an aggregating web service providing a unified interface to customers
Work on all aspects of the development from gathering requirements to designing/proposing a solution and implement, test and maintain the change
Work with a variety of technologies and interesting challenges.

Skills:

Demonstrable Software Development experience.
High standard of Java and software development knowledge / experience (to SCJP standards or equivalent).
Problem solving skills to debug specific issues.
A 2:1 or above in an IT related discipline or equivalent in a professional capacity.
Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure.
A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work.
Ability to work well within a team as well as on own initiative.
Knowledge of HTTP/X Path/Java Script would be advantageous
